Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all programs, seminars, workshops, keynote sessions and consulting engagements booked with Mumbai Dabbawale Academy Pvt Ltd ("the Academy"). By making any payment to the Academy, the client expressly accepts the terms of this policy without exception.

All advance payments made to the Academy are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances whatsoever. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Cancellation of the program by the client for any reason.
• Postponement, rescheduling or change in event dates initiated by the client.
• Reduction in audience size, scope or duration after booking confirmation.
• Internal changes within the client organisation, including management or budget revisions.
• No-show or non-attendance by participants.
• Force majeure events affecting the client's ability to host or attend the session.
• Dissatisfaction with content, delivery, speaker, format or outcomes — perceived or actual.

The advance payment secures speaker time, calendar blocking, content customisation, travel planning and operational preparation, all of which are non-recoverable costs.

The remaining balance must be paid in full as per the agreed payment schedule, on or before the date of the program. Failure to clear the balance on time entitles the Academy to cancel or withhold the engagement, while the advance shall continue to remain non-refundable.

In the rare event that the Academy is compelled to cancel an engagement entirely due to reasons solely attributable to the Academy and where rescheduling is not feasible, the Academy may, at its sole discretion, offer a credit note valid for twelve (12) months, redeemable against any future program. No cash refund shall be issued in any case.

Rescheduling requests by the client must be made at least fifteen (15) working days before the scheduled date and are subject to speaker availability. Any rescheduling is permitted only once and may attract additional charges towards revised logistics, travel and operational arrangements. The original advance payment shall remain valid for the rescheduled date but is not refundable.

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural calamities, pandemics, transport disruptions, government restrictions or any unforeseen circumstances. In such situations, the Academy will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the program; however, the advance payment shall remain non-refundable.

Any digital products, recorded sessions, downloadable resources or online courses purchased from the Academy are strictly non-refundable once access has been delivered.

By making any payment to Mumbai Dabbawale Academy Pvt Ltd, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood and unconditionally accepted this Refund Policy in its entirety.
